4 General
LTE-based vehicular communication technology LTE-V2X works in two working modes, one is sidelink communication mode between terminals, in which the air interface between terminals is called PC5 interface; the other is uplink/downlink communication mode between terminal and LTE base station, in which the air interface between terminal and base station is called Uu interface.
The sidelink communication mode further includes two sending modes, wherein the sidelink sending mode 3 (Mode 3) is a base station scheduling resource allocation mode, and the sidelink sending mode 4 (Mode 4) is a terminal autonomous resource selection mode.
