3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 19596 and the following apply to this document.
3.1
battery swap
A process of replenishing electric energy for an electric vehicle by quickly replacing the traction battery system via dedicated equipment or manual assistance.
Note: The complete battery swap process generally does not exceed 5 minutes.

3.2
electrical interface of battery swap
Used for connecting the battery swap system to the vehicle or battery swap station, for transmitting electrical energy, electrical signals, and communication data. It generally includes a high-voltage electrical interface and a low-voltage electrical interface.
4 Basic Requirements for the Electrical Interface of Battery Swap
4.1The terminals of the high-voltage electrical interface shall have a rated operational voltage not less than 1000 V, and the single-terminal continuous maximum current shall not be less than 150 A.
4.2The terminals of the low-voltage electrical interface shall have a rated operational voltage not less than 16 V, and the single-terminal continuous maximum current shall not be less than 5 A.
4.3The electrical interface of battery swap shall have a protective earth. The minimum cross-sectional area of its circuit shall be not less than half of the cross-sectional area of the power terminals.
4.4The high-voltage electrical interface should have a 360° annular shielding function.
4.5The electrical interface of battery swap should have a connection signal for activating the Battery Management System (BMS).
4.6The electrical interface of battery swap should have 2 CAN signal lines: charging CAN and vehicle CAN. Diagnostic CAN, etc., can be expanded based on requirements.
4.7The electrical interface of battery swap shall have a connection status feedback signal and should have a power terminal temperature detection signal.
4.8The electrical interface of battery swap shall have a guiding structure to ensure its connection is accurate and reliable.
4.9The low-voltage electrical interface should reserve expandable pins for compatibility and expandability.
5 Definition of the Electrical Interface of Battery Swap
The definition of the electrical interface of battery swap is shown in Table 2.
