3 Terms and Definitions
No terms and definitions are defined in this document.
4 Method A—Bomb Combustion Method
4.1 Principle
The sample is oxidized with sodium peroxide, and the generated chloride is determined by potentiometric titration to calculate the vinyl chloride content, from which the vinyl acetate content is derived.
4.2 Reagents or Materials
See Clause 4.2 of GB/T 7139—2023.
4.3 Apparatus
See Clause 4.3 of GB/T 7139—2023. A suitable composite silver electrode may also be used.
4.4 Test Procedure
Follow Clause 4.4 of GB/T 7139—2023.
5 Method B—Oxygen Flask Combustion Method
