1 General Provision
1.0.1 This code is formulated with a view to implementing national technical economic policies in the design, guaranteeing the design of automaticity equipment to be safe and reliable, advanced in technology and rational in cost.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to design of 35kV voltage automaticity equipment or above for power system security; design of low voltage (10kV below) automaticity equipment for power system security may also refer to this code.
1.0.3 Design of automaticity equipment for power system security shall not only comply with this code, but also shall comply with those specified in the national current relevant standards.
2 Terms
2.0.1 Security automatic devices of power system
Automatic protection devices which prevent power system from losing stability and power failure accidents in large-area, such as transmission line automatic reclosing devices, security and stability control devices of power system, automatic splitting devices of power system, automatic low-frequency load shedding devices and automatic under-voltage shedding load devices.
