3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
extrusion die
Flat slit extrusion die
Flat-slit head
extrusion die with parallel slot shape characteristics in cross-section of forming section
3.2
die body
main body parts that make up the extrusion flat die
Note: The mold phantom usually consists of an upper mold phantom and a lower mold phantom.
3.3
upper die body
on the adjustment side, the die body is equipped with the micro adjustment structure of the die lip clearance
3.4
lower die body
non-adjustment side, integral or equipped with detachable die lip, die body equipped with preliminary adjustment structure of die lip clearance
3.5
die lip
die body of the outlet part of the flat die is extruded
Note: This part can be either the front part of the integral mold or a separate part.
3.6
die lip gap
Die lip opening clearance
outlet gap formed after the upper mould body and the lower mould body are combined and installed
3.7
sharp edges of the die lip
vertical edge and angle formed at the junction of the working plane and the non-working plane of the lip outlet of the upper die body and the lower die body
3.8
fine-adjusting structure
micro adjustment structure for adjusting the opening gap of the die lip
4 Structure
Extrusion flat die usually consists of upper die body, lower die body, fine-tuning structure, heating electrical structure, side sealing plate, etc., as shown in Figure 1.
5 Technical requirements
5.1 General requirements
Flat extrusion dies shall be manufactured according to the drawings and technical documents approved by the prescribed procedures.
5.2 Materials and accessories
5.2.1 The steel selected for extrusion flat die should not have cracks, trachoma and other defects. Tool and die steel should comply with the provisions of GB/T 1299, and pre-hardened steel plates should comply with the provisions of GB/T 35840.4.
5.2.2 The raw materials and accessories selected for extrusion flat die shall have quality certificates.
5.2.3 The screws used to connect the mold phantom shall adopt Grade 12.9 high-strength screws specified in GB/T 70.1.
5.2.4 The temperature resistance of high-temperature resistant wires should not be lower than 500℃.
5.2.5 The external connector of the extrusion flat die should adapt to the ambient temperature of-40℃~200℃.
5.2.6 Before processing the steel of the mold body, ultrasonic testing should be carried out according to GB/T 6402, and there should be no defects such as white spots, slag inclusions, delamination, internal cracks, and shrinkage holes inside it.
5.2.7 The steel used for the mold phantom should be quenched and tempered, and the 0Cr17Ni4Cu4Nb mold steel should be solution treated.
5.2.8 The load per unit area of the heating rod should be 8W/cm2~12W/cm2, and the temperature resistance should not be lower than 400°C; the load per unit area of the cast aluminum heating plate shall be 2W/cm2~2.8 W/cm2, and the temperature resistance should not be lower than 300°C; the load per unit area of the cast copper heating plate should be 4W/cm2~5W/cm2, and the temperature resistance should not be lower than 500°C.
