GB/T 44871-2024 Textiles - Determination of the diisocyanate compounds
WARNING - Persons using this document shall be familiar with normal laboratory practice. This document does not purport to address all of the safety problems. It is the responsibility of the user to establish appropriate safety and health practices and to ensure compliance with any national regulatory conditions.
1 Scope
This document describes a method for the determination of total content of diisocyanate compounds in textiles by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).
This document is applicable to all kinds of textiles.
Note: See Annex A for the list of diisocyanate compounds.
2 Normative references
None.
3 Terms and definitions
None.
4 Principle
After ultrasonic extraction and filtration, the content of diisocyanate compounds in the sample is determined by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) with ethyl acetate dried by molecular sieve as solvent, and quantified by the internal standard method.
Note 1: Annex B provides a method for determining the content of free diisocyanate compounds in textiles by high performance liquid chromatography-fluorescence detector (HPLC-FLD).
Note 2: For textiles containing polyurethane coatings, sponges and other materials which will decompose diisocyanate compounds, high performance liquid chromatography-fluorescence detector method (HPLC-FLD) is used generally.
