1 Scope
This document describes a method for the determination of 18 kinds of chlorinated organic solvents in textiles by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).
This document is applicable to various textiles.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

chlorinated organic solvents
alkane or alkene in which the carbon element is combined with one or more chlorine atoms
Note: The chlorinated organic solvents referred to in this document are often used as industrial solvents.
4 Principle
The samples are subjected to ultrasonic extraction by n-tetradecane, measured by GC-MS, and quantified by the internal standard method.
