3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 20306 and GB/T 28622, as well as the following, apply to this document.
3.1 Small Amusement Device
Amusement devices used in public places for children's play, including slides, swings, rocking horses, seesaws, climbing nets, rotating chairs, and various combinations of such facilities.
Note: Public places generally include schools, kindergartens, parks, shopping malls, commercial complexes, communities, scenic spots, and amusement parks. Various combinations typically refer to combined facilities such as slides with swings or slides with climbing nets.
4 Safety Requirements
4.1 General Requirements
4.1.1 Small amusement devices shall undergo risk assessment. Hazards to personal safety and equipment during normal use and foreseeable misuse shall be identified, and targeted measures shall be proposed to eliminate or minimize risks.
4.1.2 The difficulty level of small amusement devices shall be appropriate for the age group of the users.
4.1.3 Small amusement devices prone to water accumulation shall have anti-water accumulation designs. Drainage measures for structural components shall be effective, and there shall be no residual water on the external surfaces or inside the structural components.
4.1.4 Small amusement devices shall specify usage environmental requirements, such as weather, temperature, and humidity.
4.1.5 Small amusement devices shall have visibility.
Note: Visibility refers to the ability of users on small amusement devices to be observed by external personnel.
4.1.6 Platforms and passage components of small amusement devices shall have anti-slip measures.
4.1.7 Dark areas shall not appear in the play area of small amusement devices during use.
4.1.8 Small amusement devices with climbing and falling hazards (excluding normal climbing play functions) shall have anti-climbing measures.
Note: Smooth vertical posts without flanges are considered to have anti-climbing measures.
4.2 Materials
4.2.1 Basic Requirements
4.2.1.1 The mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of metallic materials shall meet the performance requirements of the small amusement devices.
4.2.1.2 Wooden materials and the connections between wooden materials and metal parts shall undergo anti-corrosion treatment.
4.2.1.3 The physical and chemical properties and aging resistance of load-bearing plastic components shall meet the performance requirements of the small amusement devices.
4.2.1.4 The mechanical properties of load-bearing fiberglass components shall meet the performance requirements of the small amusement devices.
