1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This standard is formulated with a view to defending economic construction and civil life and property safety, perfecting the design of fire evacuation system for civil building, reasonably arranging fire evacuation facilities for civil building, conducting necessary supplement for the current relevant compulsory standards, minimizing fire hazard, and being convenient for personnel escape and fire extinguishment rescue.
1.0.2 This standard is applicable to the design of fire evacuation system for newly-built, rebuilt or expanded civil building and for civil air defence works with the peacetime and wartime combination.
1.0.3 The design of fire evacuation system for civil building shall meet the requirements of the national relevant guidelines and policies as well as relevant engineering construction and quality regulations, and achieve safety and usability, advanced technology, economy and rationality.
1.0.4 The fire products selected in the design of fire evacuation system must be subjected to qualified inspection of the relevant national fire product quality supervision testing center, in addition, the products incorporated into the national mandatory certification or type approval system shall be obtained with corresponding certificates.
1.0.5 The design of fire evacuation system for civil building shall not only comply with the requirements of this standard, but also those of the relevant national current compulsory standards.
