Determination of lactoferrin in milk and dairy products — Liquid chromatography method
1 Scope
This standard specifies a liquid chromatography method for the determination of lactoferrin in milk and dairy products.
This standard is applicable to raw milk, liquid milk and milk powder.
In this standard, the quantification limit of raw milk and liquid milk is 5.0 mg/kg, and the quantification limit of milk powder was 10.0 mg/kg.

3 Principle
The lactoferrin in the sample can be extracted by phosphate buffer solution, enriched and purified by heparin affinity column, analyzed by liquid chromatography,
separated by reverse-phase protein separation column, detected by ultraviolet light, and quantified by external standard method.
