1 Scope
This standard specifies requirements for basic work content and report preparation of engineering feasibility study report of nuclear power plants and is the essential basis for report preparation and examination.
This standard is applicable to newly-built, expanded or rebuilt engineering projects of nuclear power plants.

3 General Provisions
3.1 For newly-built or expanded engineering of nuclear power plants, feasibility study shall be carried out and engineering feasibility study report shall be prepared to provide scientific basis for project decision. The feasibility study report shall be prepared based on authorized preliminary feasibility study report according to The National Electricity Master Plan and National Nuclear Power Development Planning.
3.2 Mature and advanced technology shall be adopted for the engineering construction of nuclear power plant and high-efficient, energy-saving, land-saving, water-saving, material-saving, consumption-reducing and environmental schemes are strongly recommended.
3.3 Engineering feasibility study (including monographic study) of nuclear power plant shall be entrusted to the organization with appropriate qualification; the organization responsible for the study shall be selected in accordance with the relevant national requirements for construction and management of engineering project.
