The next working procedure shall not be proceeded without inspection and confirmation of previous working procedure.
2.0.6 Secondary grouting of equipment and other concealed works prior to concealment for rolling mill mechanical equipment installation shall be qualified and approved by self-inspection. The construction company shall notify the supervision engineer and other relevant companies to conduct a site confirmation and sign an acceptance record for concealed works before concealed works is executed.
2.0.7 Prior to installation of the rolling mill mechanical equipment, the equipment foundation and work plant involved shall be basically accomplished, the condition for equipment installation is ready and the transportation road used for construction is open.
2.0.8 Civilized construction shall be required in rolling mill mechanical equipment installation. Waste oil, grease and cleaning fluid etc. occurred during construction shall be collected and processed and not allowed to be discharged arbitrarily to avoid the environmental pollution.
3 Equipment Foundation, Anchor Bolt and Packer
3.1 Inspection and Acceptance of Equipment Foundation
3.1.1 Foundation inspection and acceptance shall be done before equipment installation. For those unqualified foundation, the equipment shall not be installed on it.
3.1.2 Equipment foundation strength shall meet the requirements of technical design document.
3.1.3 Coordinates, elevation and geometrical dimensions for equipment foundation, and coordinates and elevation for embedded anchor bolts and reserved holes shall meet the requirements of the design documents and current national standard, i.e., "General code for construction and acceptance of mechanical equipment installation engineering" (GB50231).
3.1.4 Forms, crushed stones, soil and water shall be cleaned away from equipment foundation surface and reserved holes for anchor bolt.Screws and nuts for the embedded anchor bolts shall be well protected.
3.1.5 The bottom elevation and verticality of reserved holes for anchor bolt shall meet the requirements of technical design documents. Elevation, size of square opening and direction for embedded parts of reserved holes for T-type anchor bolt shall meet the requirements of design technical documents.
3.1.6 Settlement observation shall be done for main body foundation of rolling mill equipment, and settlement observation record and settlement curve shall be retained.
3.2 Baseline and Benchmark Setting up
3.2.1 Before installation of equipment, layout for baseline and benchmark shall be drawn and prepared in accordance with equipment process layout and survey control network, so as to determine locations of center reference peg and benchmark.Permanent center reference pegs and benchmarks shall be buried for center line of main axis of continuous production line and main equipment.
3.2.2 Permanent center reference pegs and permanent benchmarks (Figure 3.2.2) shall be buried firmly and well protected.
3.2.3 Baseline and benchmark survey for the entire equipment units shall be accomplished for one time.
3.2.4 Settlement observation point should be buried after inspection and handover of equipment foundation and start to observe. It is recommended that settlement should be observed at set intervals from 7 to 30 days and be drawn out its curve chart.
3.3 Anchor Bolt
3.3.1 Quality qualification certificate shall be provided for anchor bolt.
3.3.2 The anchor bolt installation of reserved holes shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 Remove oil and scale on the anchor bolt and appropriate grease shall be applied on the screw part.
2 Check if diameter and length (including screw length)of anchor bolt shall meet the requirements of technical design documents.
3 Anchor bolt installation shall be installed compatible with its verticality and kept away from the hole wall larger than 15mm,and shall not touch the hole bottom.Clearance shall be kept between anchor bolt and equipment anchor bolt holes after preliminary alignment of equipment is made.
