Metaverse - Reference architecture
1 Scope
This document establishes the reference architecture of the metaverse, and specifies the functional requirements of basic domain, interaction domain, core domain, user domain and cross-domain.
This document is applicable to Barium chloride for industrial:
a) the selection and use of metaverse Services by interested parties in metaverse;
b) Relevant parties in metaverse build metaverse systems and applications;
c) Participation of relevant parties in metaverse in metaverse activities.
2 Normative references
The following documents contain requirements which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document.
3.1
metaverse
It is a new social ecosystem composed of complete and stable technology, content, economy, collaboration and governance subsystems, with the characteristics of high immersion, real-time sustainability, independent creation, open interconnection, etc., and the integration and interaction of virtual and reality
Note: This document is to refine the reference architecture and represents the metaverse as an information system. See Appendix A for the description of each subsystem.
3.2
activity
A collection of a specific set of tasks.

3.3
functional part
A functional basic building block required and realizable to participate in the activity
[Source: GB/T 42752-2023,3.3]
3.4
virtual world
An environment composed of multiple virtual objects with dynamic sensory information representations (such as binocular stereoscopic vision, three-dimensional hearing, force, touch, taste and smell, etc.) generated by digital technology
[Source: GB/T 38247-2019,2.2.2]
3.5
digital human
Through computer graphics, computer vision, voice interaction, generative artificial intelligence and other technologies, after training models such as images, sounds, and actions, they are used with the help of real people or computing-driven virtual humans presented on multi-modal output devices
3.6
digital space
A computer-generated environment composed of multiple virtual objects with dynamic sensory information expression (such as binocular stereo vision, three-dimensional hearing, force touch, taste and smell, etc.)
Note: Digital space can be a virtual reappearance of a specific physical world or a fictional world.
3.7
digital item
Virtual objects in digital space that allow users to interact in real time
Note: Digital items provide users with interactive objects and objects.
3.8
content generation
In a specific media environment, the process of creating, editing and integrating information, products and services through various technologies and means
3.9
content presentation
The process by which information, products, and their services are presented to the audience in a clear, effective manner
3.10
digital asset
An asset that exists only in digital form or a digital representation of other assets
[Source: GB/T 43572-2023,3.20]
3.11
digital content
Content resources such as text, images, audio, etc. that exist in digital form
[Source: GB/T 38371.1-2020,3.10,modified]
