1 Scope
This document specifies the requirements and test methods for elastomeric materials for hydraulic and pneumatic O-ring seals, preparation and conditioning of specimens, inspection rules, marking. Packaging, transport and storage.
This document applies to the hydraulic pneumatic O-shaped rubber seal, also applies to other occasions used in the cross-sectional diameter of 3 mm O-shaped rubber seal (hereinafter collectively referred to as O-shaped ring).
2 normative reference documents
The contents of the following documents constitute essential provisions of this document through the normative references in the text. Among them, note the date of the cited documents, only the date of the corresponding version applies to this document; do not note the date of the cited documents, the latest version (including all the revision of the list) applies to this document.
3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 9881 and GB/T 17446 apply to this document.
4 Requirements
4.1 Commonly used elastomer materials
When selecting the material for O-rings, the working conditions should be taken into account. Therefore, it is advisable for the user to determine the O-ring material according to the working parameters used (e.g. temperature, pressure, applicable liquid, etc.).
Commonly used elastomeric materials are shown in Table 1, commonly used elastomeric materials for the use of temperature and applicable liquids are shown in Appendix B.
4.2 Material requirements
The performance indicators and test methods of the elastomeric materials listed in Table 1 shall conform to the provisions of Table 2 to Table 10, or O-ring specimens may be used.
Note:The differences in the specifications between this document and ISO 3601-5:2015 are shown in Appendix D.
5 Preparation and conditioning of specimens
5.1 If the performance indicators in Tables 2 - 10 are used, the specimens should be prepared by the moulding method specified in GB/T 2941 and conditioned in accordance with GB/T 2941.
5.2 If the performance indicators in Tables C.1 to C.7 are used, the specimen shall be prepared using an O-ring or a section of an O-ring, and as far as possible, a complete O-ring shall be used. The length of the O-ring segment is 29 mm ± o.5 mm.
6 Inspection rules
6.1 Factory inspection
6.1.1 Not more than 300 kg of the same material produced on the same machine in the same shift as a batch, and not more than 5,00o o-rings of the same specification made of the same material and delivered at the same time as a batch.
6.1.2 For each batch of elastomeric materials, according to Table 2 ~ Table 8, serial number 1 ~ 3, serial number 4 of the ① factory inspection, Table 9 and Table 10 according to serial number 1 ~ 4, serial number 5 of the ① factory inspection; for each batch of O-rings, according to Table C1 ~ Table C.? For each batch of O-rings, the factory inspection shall be carried out according to items 1 to 3 of serial number and item ① of serial number 4.
6.1.3 When the physical properties of elastomeric materials or O-rings do not meet the test, a double sample shall be taken, the non-conforming items for re-inspection, double test still does not meet, the batch of elastomeric materials or O-rings failed.
6.2 Type test
When one of the following circumstances, should be Table 2 to Table 10 (or Table C.1 to Table C.7) of the elastomeric materials for the full performance test:
a) new product finalization or product transfer to production
b) after formal production, such as materials, processes have a large change may affect the product performance; formal production at the end of each quarter;
Product production is suspended for more than three months and production is resumed
c) factory test results and the last type test have a large difference.
7 Marking, packaging, transport and storage
7.1 Each batch of elastomeric materials and O-rings shall be accompanied by a certificate of conformity, indicating: the document number, material code, hardness level, batch number. Quantity, production unit, date of manufacture, inspection department seal of conformity
7.2 The elastomer material shall be packaged in such a way that it does not damage or contaminate the elastomer material and the gross weight of each box shall not exceed 25 kg, or as agreed between the supplier and the customer.
7.3 Elastomeric materials and O-rings shall be stored in a cool and ventilated environment and shall not come into contact with acids, alkalis, oils and solvents. They should be stored at a temperature of not more than 30 °C and a relative humidity of not more than 80%, 1 m away from heat sources.
7.4 Under the above conditions, the storage period of elastomeric materials, except polyurethane materials, shall be 3 months from the date of manufacture, O-Rings made of AU.EU have a storage life of 2 years.
Appendix A (informative) Comparison of this document with the normative references of ISO 3601-5, 2015
In order to adapt to our technical conditions and to increase operability, Table A.1 gives a cross-reference to the normative references of this document and ISO 3601-5,2015.
Appendix B (informative) Temperature of use and applicable fluids for elastomeric materials
Table B.1 gives the service temperatures and applicable fluids for elastomeric materials as specified in this document.
Appendix C (normative) the use of O-ring specimens of material performance indicators
When O-ring specimens are used, the requirements for elastomeric materials other than polyurethane materials in Table 1 shall conform to the provisions of Tables C.1 to C.7.
Appendix D (informative) Differences between the specifications in this document and ISO 3601-5;2015
