This document specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, as well as accompanying documents and order contents of battery grade lithium carbonate.
This document is applicable to battery grade lithium carbonate produced by various methods.

For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

substances that can be directly or indirectly adsorbed by ferromagnets
Note: It mainly refers to magnetic substances in transition elements such as iron, chromium, nickel, zinc and their alloys.
4 Classification
The products are divided into three designations according to chemical composition: Li2CO3-D1, Li2CO3-D2 and Li2CO3-D3.
5 Technical requirements
5.1 Chemical composition
The chemical composition of the products shall meet the requirements of Table 1. In case of any special requirement, it shall be determined through negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser.
