1 Scope
This document specifies the product model, structural size, manufacturing length and performance requirements of bow-type optical cables (hereinafter referred to as optical cables), and describes the corresponding test methods, inspection rules, packaging, markings and instructions for use, storage and transportation.
This document is applicable to the design, development, production and inspection of bow-type optical cables for communications. Other bow-type optical cables for similar purposes can also be used as a reference.

4 product classification
4.1 General
Optical cable is divided into indoor Bow-type optical fibre cable and indoor and outdoor Bow-type optical fibre cable for overhead and pipe; according to the combined form of optical cable, it is divided into side-by-side Bow-type optical fibre cable and non-side-by-side Bow-type optical fibre cable.
4.2 Type
4.2.1 According to the provisions of YD / T 908-2020, optical cables include the following two types:
GJX——Indoor Bow-type optical fiber cables for telecommunication
GJYX——Indoor and outdoor Bow-type optical fibre cables
4.2.2 Typical structure type codes and names of optical cables are shown in Table 1.
