1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, order contents, materials, technical requirements, inspection, test, acceptance method, and packaging, marking and quality certificate of compacted strand ropes.
This standard is applicable to compacted strand ropes used for mine shaft lifting, large pouring, petroleum drilling, large hoisting, boat, offshore facility, aerial ropeway, hoisting transportation, etc.

strand with the shape of steel wire and the dimension of strand changed but the metal cross-sectional area of steel wire unchanged after roll-die drawing, rolling, hammering and other deformation processing
