3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 19596-2017, GB/T 40032-2021, and the following apply to this document.
3.1
swappable battery pack
Traction battery pack for electric vehicle battery swapping.
[Source: GB/T 40032-2021, 3.2]
3.2
rated capacity
Energy (Wh) discharged by a fully charged battery at room temperature at a 1-hour-rate current until the discharge cut-off voltage is reached.
[Source: GB/T 19596-2017, 3.3.3.5.3]
3.3
battery swap mechanism
Mechanical device used for coupling and separating the swappable battery pack and the vehicle body.
Note: It may have functions such as guiding, positioning, limiting, retaining, fastening, and locking.
[Source: GB/T 40032-2021, 3.4]
3.4
electrical interface of battery swap
Connection device used for connecting the swappable battery pack and the vehicle body to transmit electrical energy, electrical signals, and communication data.
3.5
battery-swap cooling interface
Connection device used for connecting the swappable battery pack and the vehicle body to transmit coolant.
4 Battery Swap Vehicle Platform
The battery swap vehicle platform shall meet the requirements specified in Clause 4 of QC/T XXXX "Interchangeable Platform for Battery Electric Passenger Car Battery Swap - Part 1: Vehicle".
5 General Requirements
5.1 Operating Temperature
The swappable battery pack shall be used within the following temperature ranges:
a)Charging temperature: -20 °C ~ 55 °C;
b) Discharging temperature: -30 °C ~ 55 °C.
5.2 Storage Requirements
The swappable battery pack may be stored in an environment with a temperature of -30 °C ~ 60 °C.
6 Interchangeability Requirements
6.1 The interchangeability of the swappable battery pack shall comply with the provisions of Appendix A.
6.2 Based on the chronological order of the battery pack's entry into the platform, performance matching between vehicles and swappable battery packs shall follow the principle of "first-in sets the standard, later entrants match the first."
7 Safety Requirements
The safety of the swappable battery pack shall comply with the provisions of GB 38031 and GB/T 40032.
8 Network Entry Requirements
8.1 Within the same battery swap vehicle platform, swappable battery packs shall employ the same high-voltage electrical schematic diagram. The high-voltage electrical schematic diagram should conform to the provisions of Appendix B.
8.2 The high-voltage electrical system shall meet the following requirements:
a) Capable of connecting or disconnecting external loads of the swappable battery pack and implementing functions such as current measurement and short-circuit protection. It mainly includes electrical components such as contactors, current sensors, fuses, and resistors;
b) The wiring relationships between electrical components are clear and straightforward.
8.3 Within the same battery swap vehicle platform, the network entry of a swappable battery pack shall meet the following requirements:
a) Comply with the provisions for mechanical interchangeability such as the electrical interface for battery swap, cooling interface for battery swap, battery swap mechanism, and battery pack outline specified in Table A.1;
b) Comply with the provisions for basic parameters such as operating voltage range, low-voltage power supply range, and rated capacity specified in Table A.1;
