1 Scope
This document specifies the protocol structure, communication connection, structure and definition of data package as well as format and definition of data unit in remote service and management system for electric vehicles.
This part is applicable to the connection and communication between platforms and on-board terminal to platform in remote service and management system for electric vehicles.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 19596, GB/T 24548, GB/T 28816 and GB/T 32960.1 and the following apply.

client platform
remote service and management platform for the data sender when data is exchanged
3.2
server platform
remote service and management platform for the data receiver when data is exchanged
3.3
register
process of providing platform and vehicle's static information for server platform from client platform, for the authentication of platform and vehicle
3.4
upstream
data transmission direction from client to server
3.5
downstream
data transmission direction from server to client
3.6
vehicle login
authentication carried out by client before uploading vehicle state information to server
3.7
vehicle logout
authentication carried out by client to server before vehicle data transmission is normally stopped
3.8
platform login
authentication carried out by client platform before uploading vehicle state information to server platform
3.9
platform logout
authentication carried out before client platform stops data transmission to the server platform for some reason
3.10
encryption
process of encryption during data transmission
3.11
deciphering
process of deciphering after platform receives data
3.12
assembly
process of combining information parts of real time information freely
3.13
minimum parallel unit
minimum group cell with a rated voltage equal to that of a single cell in the power battery pack
4 General requirements
4.1 The protocol structure shall take the Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network control protocol as the underlying communication bearer protocol, as shown in Figure 1.
