1.0.1 This Code is formulated with a view to reasonably install and safely handle the building fire extinguisher (hereinafter referred to as "extinguisher"); effectively and timely extinguish fires, decrease fire losses and guarantee human and property security.
1.0.2 The Code is applicable to the installation, acceptance, inspection and maintenance of the extinguishers in industrial and civil buildings.
This Code is inapplicable to workshops or storehouses that produce and stock detonator, ammunition, hot working products and fireworks.
1.0.3 The installation, acceptance, inspection, and maintenance for extinguishers shall be in accordance with those specified current relevant standards of the nation beside this Code.
