1 Scope
This document specifies the dynamic environmental noise limits and the noise limits at the operator's position (ear - level) for harvesting machinery, and describes the corresponding measurement methods.
This document applies to self - propelled combine harvesters, corn harvesters, feed harvesters, cotton harvesters, and sugarcane harvesters.
2 Normative References
The contents of the following documents constitute essential provisions of this document. For normative references with a specified date, only the version corresponding to that date applies to this document; for normative references without a specified date, the latest version (including all amendments) applies to this document.
JB/T 6268: Noise Measurement Method for Self - Propelled Harvesting Machinery
3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Enclosed Operation Cab
A device that completely encloses the operator, includes air - conditioning systems and pressurization systems, etc., to prevent smoke, dust, and other substances in the external air from entering the operator's surrounding space.
3.2
General Operation Cab
A device that completely encloses the operator, without a pressurization system, and is a thin - shell - type working space device that improves the operator's working environment.
3.3
Simple Operation Cab
A device that does not completely enclose the operator, but only provides shade and rain protection for the operator.
4 Noise Limits
The dynamic environmental noise and the noise at the operator's position (ear - level) for harvesting machinery shall comply with the provisions of Table 1.
Table 1 Noise Limits for Harvesting Machinery
5 Measurement Methods
The noise of harvesting machinery shall be measured in accordance with the method specified in JB/T 6268.
