1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This standard was formulated with a view to implementing the laws, regulations and policies of the State on energy conservation and environmental protection, constructing suitable and healthy indoor thermal environment and normalizing the evaluation for indoor thermal environment in civil buildings.
1.0.2 This standard is applicable to the evaluation for indoor thermal environment in offices, classrooms, hotels and markets in the residential buildings and public buildings and is applicable to healthy adults, the other crowds may refer to this standard.
1.0.3 The evaluation for indoor thermal environment in civil buildings shall be conduced in accordance with the principle of adaptation to local conditions, in combination of the climate, natural environment, economy and cultural characteristics of the region where the building is located.
1.0.4 In addition to this standard, the evaluation for indoor thermal environment in civil buildings still shall comply with those specified in the relevant current standards of the State.
