Chapter I Design, Manufacture and Installation
Article 1 The sliding cable position shall comply with the requirements of 3.7 and 3.8 in "Safety Code for Passengers Aerial Ropeways" (GB 12352-90).
Article 2 Damping device must be arranged where the maximum chord inclination of sliding cable exceeds 10°; before contacting with the braking (buffer) device, the momentary speed of sliding car shall not be greater than 3.5m/s; the braking of sliding car shall be stable, safe and reliable.
Article 3 The distance between sliding cable and obstacle shall not be less than 1.5m and that between adjacent sliding cable shall not be less than 1.5m.
Article 4 The design load shall comply with the requirements of 5.7 in "Safety of Amusement Machines and Amusement Park Equipment" (GB 8408-2000).
Article 5 Sliding cable station building and equipment foundation shall be designed and constructed by entrusting unit with corresponding qualification; the used material must pass the inspection according to relevant technical requirements; construction record shall be made, various test and inspection reports and other technical documents shall be collected and kept and must be turned over to the user after completion.
Article 6The materials of important parts and components shall be provided with material certificate.Important shaftand pin shaft should be made of material with mechanical property not lower than that of No.45 steel; the heat treatment shall comply with the requirements of GB/T 699 and GB/T 3077.Welding and bolted connection shall comply with the requirements of relevant national codes. The ancillary electromechanical equipment shall be provided with certificate of qualification.
Article 7 Requirements for station building
1. The foundation bolt connection of tower in station building shall comply with the requirements of "General Code for Construction and Acceptance of Mechanical Equipment Installation Engineering" (GB 50231-98).
