YD/T 5264-2021 Technical Specifications for Wireless Network of 5G Digital Cellular Mobile Communication Engineering
1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This specification is formulated to standardize the construction of wireless network project of 5G digital cellular mobile communication network in China,and to achieve advanced technology, economic applicability, safety and reliability, and facilitate construction and maintenance.
1.0.2 This specification is applicable to the construction of 5G wireless network project including the whole process of planning, design, construction, acceptance, network operation, maintenance and optimization. The construction of 5G private network for industrial application can refer to this specification, and the construction involving 5G indoor coverage shall follow the relevant technical
standards of indoor coverage system engineering.
1.0.3 The project construction shall implement the national essential construction guidelines and policies,technical and economic policies, and make rational use of resources by closely combining the reality of communication development.
1.0.4 The project construction shall fully investigate, analyze and predict the business demand,operation and maintenance demand, and fully consider the impact of new business and new technology on network structure, capacity and service quality.
1.0.5 The project construction shall save the consumption of land, energy and raw materials, and protect the natural environment and landscape.
1.0.6 In the construction of telecommunication network in areas with seismic fortification intensity of 7 and above in China, the main telecommunication equipment used shall comply with the provisions of YD 5083 Code for testing the seismic performance of telecommunication equipment.
1.0.7 The project construction should fully consider co-construction and sharing, reduce repeated investment and improve resource utilization.
1.0.8 In addition to this specification, the project construction shall also comply with the provisions of the current relevant national standards.2
2 Terms and Symbols
2.1 Term
2.1.1 Stand-Alone
New 5G network,including new eNodeB, backhaul link and core network, new network elements and interfaces are introduced, and new technologies such as network virtualization and software defined network are adopted on a large scale
2.1.2 Non-standalone
Use the existing 4G core network facilities to transform it to add 5G functions.
Connect the gNodeB to the transformed 4G core network for 5G network deployment.
In this mode, 5G carrier only carries user data, and its control signaling is still transmitted through 4G network
2.1.3 Dual Stack Site
The same gNodeB supports both NSA and SA protocol stacks and works in the same 5G cell at the same time. The existence of NSA/SA hybrid networking mode can ensure that the terminals that have accessed to the network and only support NSA can continue with the 5G experience, while the 5G experience of new accessed SA terminals will be more continuous, and can quickly support the ecological development of the
industry
2.1.4 Global Raster
Global raster is a global frequency point grid used to calculate 5G frequency point numbers. The higher the frequency band, the larger the grid, including 5kHz, 15kHz and 60kHz.The frequencies of SSB center frequency point and 5G band center frequency point can be calculated according to the formula 4.5.4-1 in this specification
2.1.5 Co-Construction and Sharing
Overall planning, co-construction and sharing of communication network elements and
infrastructure resources among different owners
2.1.6 Rolling Sphere Method
A simplified analysis method of applying electrical geometry theory to lightning protection analysis of buildings.The rolling sphere method involves rolling an imaginary ball with a specified radius along the surface of the protected object.
The ball rolls up and down under the support of lightning rod, lightning wire, fence and other grounded metal bodies for calculating the lightning protection range.If a device is under the protective surface formed by the rolling of the ball,it is protected,and the equipment touching the ball or penetrating its surface is not protected
