Determination of chloroacetic acid in dish-washing detergents - Liquid chromatography method
1 Scope
This standard specifies the liquid chromatography method for monochloroacetic acid and dichloroacetic acid in dish-washing detergents.
This standard is applicable to dish-washing detergents like hand dish-washing detergents, fruit and vegetable detergents and machine dish-washing detergents.

GB/T 6682 Water for analytical laboratory use - Specification and test methods
3 Principle
The sample is dissolved in mobile phase and the pH value is adjusted. After the sample solution is filtered, the contents of monochloroacetic acid and dichloroacetic acid in the sample solution are determined by a liquid chromatography UV detector or diode array detector, and quantified by the external standard method.
4 Reagents and materials
4.1 Reagent
Unless otherwise specified, only analytical reagents are used.
