1 Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements for the design, construction, acceptance, operation, and maintenance of small liquefied natural gas vaporizing stations.
This document applies to the design, construction, acceptance, operation, and maintenance of small LNG vaporizing stations that supply natural gas to various users in cities, towns, or residential areas, with a total geometric volume not exceeding 180 m³ and a single tank geometric volume not exceeding 60 m³.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB 50028 and the following apply.

liquefied natural gas (LNG)
A colorless cryogenic liquid fluid composed primarily of methane, possibly containing small amounts of ethane, propane, butane, nitrogen, or other components typically found in natural gas.

3.2
small LNG vaporizing station
A specialized station that uses small LNG storage tanks, tank containers, or gas cylinders as storage equipment, with a total geometric volume of LNG storage tanks not exceeding 180 m³ or a total geometric volume of gas cylinder groups not exceeding 4 m³. It utilizes vaporization equipment to convert LNG into gaseous natural gas, which is then regulated, metered, odorized, and supplied to users through pipelines.
Note 1: Referred to as "vaporizing station" in this document.
Note 2: Small LNG vaporizing stations are classified into small LNG skid-mounted vaporizing stations and small LNG cylinder group vaporizing stations.
