5 Overview
HDR video stream metadata application consists of three main stages: metadata generation, packaging, and terminal application. The metadata generation stage produces compliant metadata based on video analysis and adjustments according to GB/T 46269.1. The packaging stage integrates metadata into video streams or files at both program and transport stream levels. The terminal application stage extracts, transmits, and processes metadata in accordance with GB/T 46269.1. Figure 1 illustrates the HDR video processing workflow.
