This standard specifies the requirements and test methods for image quality assurance test items of medical X-ray equipment for computed tomography (hereinafter referred to as "CT equipment"). This standard is applicable to the acceptance testing, status test and constancy test of CT equipment in use. It is not applicable to the quality control of CT equipments in the production and image hardcopy system used in match with the CT equipment.
