1 Scope
This Standard specifies the relevant terms and definitions, safety specifications, test methods and inspection rules for cages.
This Standard is applicable to the design, fabrication and inspection of cages for shaft hoisting in metal and nonmetal mine(s), coal mines and coal series of mines.
