Brassiere
1 Scope
This document specifies the model and specification, requirements, tests, sampling rules, judgment rules, as well as instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of brassieres.
This document is applicable to the brassiere products primarily made of knitted fabrics.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

bust girth
maximum horizontal measurement taken around the torso at the fullest part of the breasts, when wearing a well-fitted, single-layer brassiere without padding or supportive inserts, allowing the breasts to appear in a naturally uplifted and rounded position
3.2
underbust girth
horizontal measurement taken around the lower root of the human breast
3.3
brassiere cup
part of a brassiere that covers the breasts
3.4
under border
part of a brassiere that covers the underbust girth of the human body
3.5
lateral wing
part of a brassiere that covers the area from below the side back armpit to the back of the human body
