1.0.1 This standard is formulated with a view to reasonably installing fire safety evacuation sign, guaranteeing personal safety, minimizing fire hazards and facilitating rescue.
1.0.2 This standard is applicable to design, construction, acceptance and maintenance for fire safety evacuation sign in constructed, renovated or extended civil building and civil air defense works for both peacetime and wartime use.
1.0.3 Design and construction of fire safety evacuation sign shall meet the requirements of relevant national principles and policies as well as relevant engineering construction and quality control laws and regulations so as to achieve safety and suitability, advanced technology, economic rationality.
1.0.4 Fire safety evacuation sign selected in the design must be qualified through the certification of China National Supervision and Test Center for Fire Product Quality.
1.0.5 The design, installation, acceptance, maintenance and management shall meet the requirements of this standard as well as other relevant national current standards and codes.
